je viens de télécharger l’ iso de knoppix azur suite au test de clubic sur le Cd live.
je le met , tout se lance, mais en 640X480 
dans la news ils disent de taper au démarrage : knoppix screen=1280x1024
mais ca ne fonctionne pas et ensuite pas moyen de modifier dans le centre de controle.
avez vous la solution SVP ?

si t’es sur un portable essaie aussi l’option vga=771.
et essaie en 1024

la résolution de travail d’un LCD 17" est de 1280X1024.
Peut être que tu peux quand même définir le mode vga à utiliser en te référant à ce tableau:

Sinon j’ai peur que ton problème vienne du fait que ton écran n’est pas bien reconnu par la kaella.
Est-ce que tu peux poster le fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf utiliser par kaella, ou au moins la section monitor et tout ce qui touche aux résolutions (screen,…)?

sinon pour info mon LCD est un hyundai Q17.
et il reconnait IQT217d (dans le listing de fermture knoppix)

Sinon je me suis trompé pour kaella ou autre version de knoppix, le serveur graphique n’est pas encore xorg :paf: , mais XFree.
C’est le fichier /etc/X11/XFConfig-4 qui correspond au xorg.conf que je t’ai demandé.
Si ton ecran est bien reconnu, c’est peut etre ta carte graphique, c’est quoi?
ma carte graphique est une geforce 6800 ultra mais il me semble avoir vu aussi un truc à ce sujet (j’ai vu du nvidia mais model pas reconnu).
je regarderai demain ou peut etre après ma douche pour le fichier car il se fait tard, je me lève tot demain 6h30

Je pense que ton problème vient de l’utilisation du driver vesa par kaella dans la section Device.
J’ai une ati et ça fait un certain temps que je n’ai plus de nvidia (dommage c’est mieux pour linux), mais le pilote générique utiliser doit être nv si je me souviens bien.
Le problème c’est que si tu démarre depuis le livecd, j’ai peur que tu ne puisse pas vraiment appliqué ce changement. En tout cas tu peux quand même essayer, il faudra ensuite que tu redémarres le serveur X en te déloggant (mais je crois que ça éteint le pc avec kaella en livecd) ou en faisant la combinaison de touches : ctrl+alt+backspace
Si tu n’arrive pas à faire ce changement, n’hésite pas à tester un autre livecd (mepis, ubuntu, suse, mandriva move,…)
EDIT: j’avais pas lu jusqu’au bout ton ficher, ce que j’ai dit avant n’est pas forcément faux, mais la cause principale de ton problème est la présence dans la section screen uniquement du mode 640*480. Il faut que tu rajoutes à chaque fois les modes que tu veux, exemple :
