insertion d'images sur site web

j'essaie d'insèrer des images, mais elles n'apparaissent pas sur le web: elles sont enregistrées en format text (vérification par type de fichiers dans "media" de firefox),
alors qu'elles sont bien en jpg dans mon fichier.
Quelqu'un a-til une idée de l'anomalie?

Vérifie les entêtes du serveur, voir s'il envoie bien les images jpg comme image/jpeg...

Je réexplique mon problème: j'ai créé un site en utilisant frontpage express. Pas de problème concernant mes images, comme navigateur j'ai utilisé IE. Depuis ayant des problmes avec IE, je sis passé sur firefox. J'ai alors retouché une page, en réorganisant mes images(j'ai créé des étiquettes: sur cette page, les images n'apparaissent pas. Dans firefix, il y a l'onglet "utils" puis "information sur la page" puis "media",avec lequel on peut vérifier le type de fichiers enregistrés: c'est là que je vois l'extension de mes images sur la page transférée: elles sont en "text" au lieu d"'imqge".
sur le serveur ftp, les images sont bien transférées en image pourtant.

Il est comique lui

mais si on a que le code source de la page, et qu'il s'agit d'un problème lié à des chemins relatifs/etc on ne pourra rien faire sans avoir la page web sur un serveur adhoc.

Sur la page "appartement 1" les images apparaissent et pas sur" appartement 2", alors que le transfert des fichiers en jpeg a bien eu lieu sur le meme repertoire

ben sur la page http://perso.wanadoo.fr/location.budapest/appartement2.htm, si j'essaye d'accéder à chaque image je tombe sur une simple erreur 404...
c'est peut-être le _ qui pose problème

et _vti_cnf c'est une connerie de frontpage je sais pas exactement à quoi ça sert.
