I purchased a selecline television on to use as a bigger monitor for my toshiba portable
I have it connected through VGA on both computer and screen. it gets the power. when I turn the portable on, it gives a ''welcome message Toshiba '' on the screen as if ready to continue and then ''No signal through PC'' when I am ready to browse on the computer-- such as how I am writing this message through the computer but not the tv monitor
I am able to change sources and everything through the telecommand and it shows all the features available ==USB, HDMI. etc
what am I missing
